Your grandpa and I always prided ourselves on sharing what we had and trying not to be greedy, but compared to those you live with daily we have lived lives of luxury and more than plenty. I'm deeply grateful for all the good things I've had in life, thank God for my blessings, and pray to have wisdom and strength to continue to share and serve. God bless you and keep you safe and strong. Much love, Granny
By the way, my latest project since finally getting my shoulders back in shape after 3 surg eries over the years - knitting sweaters for World Vision Knit for Kids. I am thinking about the coming year an minimizing my life, co-planning meals with Susanna and Kyle, eating less prepared foods, growing and eating more natural foods (challenging sometimes in little Lynchburg) and working harder to cook from scratch and empty the perpetually full refrigerator sized freezer. All that is still HUGE compared to the things you are talking about.

I too get so discusted with the rich getting richer and those of us middle class getting poorer. Teachers here are so very under-rated. I submit you and I (NOT that what I do compares to you in any way but we are both teachers) make a much bigger difference every day in lives than any senator, congressman, NFL player, coach, or executive. Honestly, I'll take the RICHES that come from scraping by every day, be it where you are or where I am, over being so rich I can't see reality!

Love you sweet neice!Juju Bag Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16717378730500108612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4334686853727129337.post-59392371443182566272011-04-19T14:48:30.367-07:002011-04-19T14:48:30.367-07:00"Maybe we should require people to serve two ..."Maybe we should require people to serve two years in the Peace Corps before they can run for office or buy a football team?"
Love it!
